Manufactured for the Cowell and Hubbard Company, each plate transfer decorated and painted in polychrome enamels on a cream rim, with fruit rondelles, heavily gilt and tooled with scrolling foliage, and the reverse stamped in puce with the Royal Worcester crown mark, "Cowell & Hubbard Co. Cleveland, Ohio", C138 painted in iron red, and the registry number 651926 in green. 10 3/4" d.
